Technology and Language Learning Part 1

The first meeting in this subject was very nice. Lecturer introduced  this lesson to teacher candidates. The teacher candidates looked very interested in this lesson because this lesson is about using technology in language learning. As the teacher candidates, we have to know and understand about everything which can develop our ability and quality in teaching.

            In every year, technology grows and develops so fast. In many years ago, technology just likes a strange and unusual for some people but now technology becomes the important things for helping people to live in this earth which is getting worse. People do not just use technology in the house or the office but also in school.

            Nowadays many school have been using some technologies to support the learning process. It does not help the student and also the teacher it’s self. There are many advantages  using technologies in the school.

a.       Technology could make the lesson be more interesting and challenging.

b.      Technology could drive The students be more creative and update.

c.        Technology could help the teacher in giving and explaining the lesson in the class.

d.      Technology could make the teacher more creative.

e.       Technology could develop education in Indonesia be better and better.

f.       Etc.

Those advantages make me think that how important  the technology is. I realize that I do not master the technology yet, so I want to master the technology which uses in language learning to support and develop my ability and knowledge in teaching.
